What drives Viva con Agua

Without Water, Life Comes to a standstill. 696 million people lack safe access to clean drinking water. For many families, this means long walks, illness, insecurity, and less time for learning and living. Water is the foundation for self-determination, health, and opportunities that can grow. And as the climate crisis increases the pressure, every contribution becomes more important. This is exactly where our work begins—so that water makes the future possible.

What Viva con Agua has going on

Our holistic approach: From infrastructure to sustainable water supply for 300,000 people.

Building and Repairing: New wells are drilled and existing solar-powered water systems are upgraded so that clean water reaches families directly.
Engage and Educate: Using the Universal Languages for Change—art, music, and sports—we raise awareness about hygiene and water in creative and joyful ways.
Train and Empower: Local water and sanitation committees are established and trained. This gives communities the tools and responsibility to manage and protect their systems on their own in the long term.

Donation examples:

€25 funds a ceramic filter and provides clean water for 6 households.
€400 funds a latrine for a household of 6 people.
€2,000 funds the rehabilitation of a borehole and provides clean water for 500 people.
